In a world where loneliness and despair can often overwhelm us, there are places that offer hope, warmth, and compassion—a place where lives are transformed, and hearts are healed. One such place is Amma Nanna Ananda Ashramam, an oasis for those who have lost their way and are searching for a second chance at life.
At Amma Nanna Ananda Ashramam, love isn’t just a feeling—it’s a promise. The Ashramam has been a sanctuary for many individuals who, for one reason or another, have found themselves far from their families and loved ones. Among these individuals is Parijatham, whose journey from despair to hope reminds us all of the power of care, community, and unwavering compassion.
Parijatham's Journey: A Lost Mind, A Remembered Memory
When we think of the school board, the first things that come to mind are often our childhood memories—the village where we grew up, the mother who gave birth to us, and the sweet memories we will never forget. Why are we talking about this?
Parijatam had lost everything. She forgot the people who loved her, her home, and even her own identity. A year ago, she left her home, suffering from mental health issues, and wandered away from her family.
It’s unknown which kind soul brought her to the Amma Nanna Ananda Ashramam, but the care she received there, with the blessings of Lord Shiva, worked like a miracle. The treatment Parijatam received in the Ashramam helped her regain her memories, and she finally remembered her family. She shared her address with the staff at the Ashramam, who immediately took action to reunite her with her family.
Family reunion:
The Ashramam staff took Parijatham to Ramannapet, where she was finally reunited with her family. When her aunt, Barigalingamma, saw Parijatham, she was overwhelmed with emotion. She pointed to Parijatham's son, Ginniya, and raised her hands in gratitude towards the Ashramam staff.
